Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) In the 2nd match minute, MOSS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráusio Marques to maneuver through the defense. Ivo Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Teodoro Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Donato Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Destroyer's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Coutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. João Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute of the match, Marcelo Aguiar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Almir Koehler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adilson Rosado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldir Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabinho de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. João Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Coutinho having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Ivo Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adilson Rosado in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Almir Koehler saved Destroyer from getting behind. A collision led to MOSS FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Adilson Rosado hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Luisão Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Almir Koehler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho de Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. João Coutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabinho de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcelo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MOSS FC's Adilson Rosado got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Destroyer's Almir Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Rosado in the 62nd minute of play. João Coutinho made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Donato Vergílio sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the game, Ivo Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Destroyer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MOSS FC the free kick. Ivo Schmidt hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Marcelo Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the MOSS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Fabinho de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Coutinho having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Fabinho de Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Coutinho was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. With a little luck, MOSS FC's João Coutinho got control of the ball when Donato Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 played minutes, MOSS FC's Dráusio Marques shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Almir Koehler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MOSS FC reached it. In the 84th minute, Donato Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Aguiar in the 92nd minute of play forced Destroyer's goalkeeper Almir Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almir Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adilson Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 97 minutes, Túlio Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MOSS FC and the Destroyer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sílvio Favoretto, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
