In the 3rd minute Walmyr Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dráusio Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráusio Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer de Toledo having to interfere. Walmyr Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in A. A. Veterana's zone, Ricardo Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson Branco came out of the goal and Ricardo Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rmac F.C.'s Eliézer de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Saldanha in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Rmac F.C. booed when A. A. Veterana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Walmyr Saldanha got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for A. A. Veterana. A. A. Veterana's Perivaldo Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ricardo Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rmac F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lenílson Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 minutes of play, Rmac F.C.'s Amílton do Vale made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lenílson Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Amílton do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The A. A. Veterana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rmac F.C. were winning 0-2.

Ricardo Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amílton do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cauan Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A. A. Veterana's protests and gave Cauan Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, A. A. Veterana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Lopes to maneuver through the defense. If Ricardo Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69thth minute of the game Walmyr Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rmac F.C.'s Eliézer de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A. A. Veterana's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cauan Lopes in the 71st minute. The corner led A. A. Veterana's Cauan Lopes to fire away a dangerous shot which Eliézer de Toledo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A. A. Veterana's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Amílton do Vale scored to the left of an out of position Lenílson Branco, making the score, 0-3. In the 76th minute Walmyr Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Duarte Alves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A. A. Veterana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rmac F.C. the free kick. In the 80th minute, Duarte Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Augusto Lira's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Lenílson Branco on his right side and into the goal. 81 minutes into the game it was 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Paulo Bueno during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Paulo Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Amílton do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Lenílson Branco made a huge save. With a little luck, A. A. Veterana's Lenílson Branco got control of the ball when Amílton do Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, A. A. Veterana's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Custódio came free, but Lenílson Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Rmac F.C.'s Ricardo Custódio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. After 96 minutes, Fausto Tasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rmac F.C. and the A. A. Veterana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Rmac F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Tasso. Eliézer de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rmac F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rmac F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
