Almir Gaspar came out of the goal and Genílson Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genílson Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Alexandre de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jânio Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo da Cunha during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Genílson Félix made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pacu's Alexandre de Toledo got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 60th minute, Ruy Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Pacu's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Cearense came free, but Ronaldão Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almir Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Genílson Félix hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ludogorets United's Ruy Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Tomé Quirino fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pacu's protests and gave Tomé Quirino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Tomé Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alexandre de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pacu's Genílson Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
