Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Felipe Freire started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 10 played minutes Urubici FC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Aparecido. In the 12th minute of the match Sporting 42 got a corner. Urubici FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Nascimento ran over to the corner to take the kick. Guilherme Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Correia in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sporting 42's Elano Capixaba got a free kick in the 20th minute. Sporting 42's Nildo Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delfim Couto took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Bueno. Guilherme Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The attack was good, but when Roger Correia in the 32nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elano Capixaba got free with Diogo Breckenfeld in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diogo Breckenfeld had great luck who in the 40thth minute grab hold of the ball when Felipe Freire from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 44 minutes into the match, Delfim Couto notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sporting 42's Guilherme Bueno. Guilherme Bueno was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Sporting 42 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Urubici FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Delfim Couto was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Freire in the 56th minute of play forced Urubici FC's goalkeeper Diogo Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nildo Santana took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo Breckenfeld. Diogo Breckenfeld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Delfim Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Oséas de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting 42's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urubici FC the free kick. Celsinho Cabral's late challenge caught a Sporting 42's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celsinho Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. Celsinho Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Sporting 42 got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Nascimento. After having played for 74 minutes, Roger Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urubici FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Santana in the 77th minute of play forced Urubici FC's goalkeeper Diogo Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Urubici FC's Celsinho Cabral got a free kick in the 78th minute. Roger Correia's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guilherme Bueno firmly grabbed it by the left post. Urubici FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Sporting 42's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duda de Andrade took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Duda de Andrade got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guilherme Bueno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 86th minute, Felipe Freire made a precise shot to the right of Diogo Breckenfeld. Urubici FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 89thth minute of the game Felipe Freire who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urubici FC's Diogo Breckenfeld was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roger Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Guilherme Bueno made a huge save. Nildo Santana struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Diogo Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting 42. 96 minutes into the match, Sporting 42's Felipe Freire sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diogo Breckenfeld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sporting 42 had won after a very even match.
