The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, BCC Fitness's Amadeu Mesquita seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amadeu Mesquita the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BCC Fitness protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amadeu Mesquita had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Luan Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Matorin in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gerson Matorin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luan Braga was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 13th match minute, BCC Fitness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Linares in the 26th minute of play forced BCC Fitness's goalkeeper Luan Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luan Braga having to make a save. Raphael Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Fluminense FC's Gerson Matorin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fluminense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerson Matorin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 89th playminute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fluminense FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
