Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Luís Machado started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Verdadeiros's zone, William de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Godoi came out of the goal and William de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Zé de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Croquete FC's protests and gave Zé de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Croquete FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Zé de Sousa hit a great ball. Sebastião Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fernando Quadros went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luís Fernando Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sebastião Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wellington Miranda lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Croquete FC booed when Verdadeiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé de Sousa struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Sebastião Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croquete FC. The supporters of Verdadeiros booed when Croquete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafa de Barros hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-2 when William de Amorim sped through Verdadeiros's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sebastião Godoi. In the 41st minute Rafa de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fernando Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Godoi having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Severino Breckenfeld got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Verdadeiros's Sebastião Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William de Amorim in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when William de Amorim made the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Godoi made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when William de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Verdadeiros's Sebastião Godoi got control of the ball when Luís Fernando Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Croquete FC's William de Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60th play minutes William de Amorim shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Sebastião Godoi and just under the crossbar into goal. Sebastião Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fernando Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Godoi having to interfere. If Zé de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William de Amorim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Sebastião Godoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 76th match minute, Verdadeiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Croquete FC's Luís Fernando Quadros shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sebastião Godoi but with some difficulty. Severino Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. José Paulo Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Severino Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Alessandro Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th play minute Luís Fernando Quadros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sebastião Godoi. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé de Sousa in the 87th minute of play forced Verdadeiros's goalkeeper Sebastião Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Severino Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Croquete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa de Barros came free, but José Paulo Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Croquete FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
