After a rather tough play, Macucu Sport's Vágner Brito got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Diogo Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Wellington Soares could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Nicasio Semir however easily saved by the left post. Wellington Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Nicasio Semir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicasio Semir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes Macucu Sport got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Soares. Wellington Soares struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Nicasio Semir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arruda Futebol Clube. Nicasio Semir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oséias Mandrak in the 22nd minute of play. Nicasio Semir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute, Diogo Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Garcia in the 31st minute of play forced Macucu Sport's goalkeeper Nicasio Semir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Macucu Sport's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Mandrak came free, but Nicasio Semir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arruda Futebol Clube's zone, Diogo Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Britto came out of the goal and Diogo Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diogo Prestes to make the kick off. Oséias Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. The supporters of Macucu Sport booed when Arruda Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Arruda Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Prestes came free, but Leopoldo Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arruda Futebol Clube's Wellington Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Macucu Sport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Soares to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Soares in the 77th minute of play forced Macucu Sport's goalkeeper Nicasio Semir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vágner Brito came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Macucu Sport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vágner Brito couldn't finish the play. Wellington Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
