Spectators: 7101 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 144) Betinho Paulista made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Itanhem SS's Waldir Sarmento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juninho Sarmento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Botelho during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th minute, Jonas Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Betinho Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Juninho Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betinho Paulista in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juninho Sarmento prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baumart Team's Juninho Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Paulista in the 21st minute of play. Túlio Veloso's late challenge caught a Itanhem SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Túlio Veloso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Baumart Team's Delfim Lopes got a free kick in the 27th minute. Waldir Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Sarmento having to interfere. When Túlio Veloso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. In the last second Juninho Sarmento throw himself and got hold of the ball when Betinho Paulista in the 48thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Botelho made a kick off. If Waldir Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betinho Paulista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juninho Sarmento having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Waldir Sarmento notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Baumart Team's Juninho Sarmento. Juninho Sarmento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 70 minutes Baumart Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafa Leão who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rafa Leão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juninho Sarmento quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wesley Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wesley Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Itanhem SS got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Quadros. Baumart Team's Jonas Botelho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wesley Quadros in the 83 minute of the game. Kaká Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Juninho Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Jonas Botelho got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Itanhem SS booed when Baumart Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kaká Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baumart Team's goalkeeper Juninho Sarmento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Itanhem SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Baumart Team for a fine match.
