Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gualter Castro started the match with the kick off. If Jailson Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes, Zé Carlos Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moquenho and the ZASS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zé Carlos Paiva hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Gualter Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cléberson Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Luciano Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Gualter Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZASS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luciano Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Trancoso in the 23rd minute of play. ZASS's Luciano Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Trancoso in the 29th minute of play. Cléberson Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Luciano Nogueira made a huge save. After having played for 33 minutes, Germano Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moquenho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cléberson Nogueira took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luciano Nogueira. Luciano Nogueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Délio Monteiro's late challenge caught a ZASS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Délio Monteiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Moquenho's Délio Monteiro got a free kick in the 40th minute. A collision led to Moquenho getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Kiko Perez hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, ZASS's Armando Amaral broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Germano Trancoso made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Cléberson Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germano Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ZASS's Iuri Cavalcante got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléberson Nogueira in the 71st minute of play forced ZASS's goalkeeper Luciano Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Moquenho's goalkeeper Valério Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jailson Lima. Vítor Dante charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Dante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Moquenho booed when ZASS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes, Toninho de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZASS and the Moquenho players grew even worse after the yellow card. Toninho de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Valério Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Dante in the 82nd minute of the match. Délio Monteiro hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes Moquenho got a freekick which was hit by Délio Monteiro. Germano Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Luciano Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moquenho. Jailson Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valério Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Castro in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Gualter Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jailson Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
