Claudinei Prestes hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arí Moraes in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Nogueira saved ZASS from getting behind. Ronaldinho Fenomeno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toninho de Barros in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Anderson Teles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prazeres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZASS the free kick. A collision led to Prazeres getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Anderson Teles hit a great ball. If Gualter Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Prazeres's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Castro came free, but Ronaldinho Fenomeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Prazeres's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Fenomeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dé Dante in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 35 minutes, Arí Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prazeres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arí Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Prazeres's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Fenomeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jailson Lima. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Arí Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Jailson Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ronaldinho Fenomeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ZASS booed when Prazeres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arí Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dé Dante came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Prazeres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dé Dante couldn't finish the play. ZASS's Luciano Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Moraes in the 63rd minute of play. Dé Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Luciano Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arí Moraes struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Luciano Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prazeres. After a defensive mix-up in ZASS's zone, Dé Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Nogueira came out of the goal and Dé Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Dé Dante got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, ZASS's Luciano Nogueira got control of the ball when Arí Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. ZASS's Luciano Nogueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save ZASS from getting a goal against them. Luciano Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dé Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Luciano Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arí Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Nogueira having to interfere. Arí Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Luciano Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
