Muri EC's Erasmo Pimenta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Muri EC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Nilson Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muri EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilson Prata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valério Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 minutes, Charles Abreu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Moquenho's Valério Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Valério Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Abreu in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Délio Monteiro during the 31st minute. Lauro Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauro Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erasmo Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Perez in the 71st minute of the match. Erasmo Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilson Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Délio Monteiro hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Moquenho's Délio Monteiro pulled a muscle in his leg after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 87 minutes of play Muri EC's Lauro Hermes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Muri EC's Lauro Hermes got a free kick in the 89th minute. Muri EC's Charles Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moquenho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nilson Prata 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. The Moquenho fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Muri EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
