Luís Paulo Mesquita came out of the goal and Luisão Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Guaimim FC's Marco Capixaba got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Lucas in the 80th minute of play forced Guaimim FC's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If José Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Luís Paulo Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Gabriel Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Indaiatuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Afonsinho Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guaimim FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. When the match was over Clube Atlético Indaiatuba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guaimim FC throughout the match.
