In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mutambo's goalkeeper Diego Oliveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hortêncio Couto came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Moipora AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Couto couldn't finish the play. Diego Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hortêncio Couto's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Gilmar Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilmar Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Mutambo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Moipora AD:s goal. Diego Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Couto in the 26th minute of the match. Diego Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Viana in the 28th minute of play. Mutambo's Leonel Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Hortêncio Couto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Couto in the 68th minute of play forced Mutambo's goalkeeper Diego Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mutambo's zone, Hortêncio Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Oliveira came out of the goal and Hortêncio Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diamantino Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Moreno in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Diamantino Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Durval Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When Diamantino Viana came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Moipora AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Viana couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mutambo's Durval Eger got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Moipora AD were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Mutambo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Acácio Abreu took the corner. The corner led Moipora AD's Acácio Abreu to fire away a dangerous shot which Diego Oliveira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hortêncio Couto in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 96 played minutes Hortêncio Couto rounded Mutambo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Moipora AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
