After a defensive mix-up in Real Matismo AT's zone, Márcio de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Ho came out of the goal and Márcio de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Márcio de Lima struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Joel Ho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BANGU F.C. Lino Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Terra in the 11th minute of the match. Adrianinho Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes of play, BANGU F.C's Márcio de Lima made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Ho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Raí Moreno got free with Lino Galvão in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Adrianinho Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Ho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Márcio de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 minutes of play, BANGU F.C's Adrianinho Luz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Ho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raí Moreno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Lino Galvão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adrianinho Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Ho having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Real Matismo AT got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Paulista. Real Matismo AT's João Augusto Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Augusto Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Galvão having to interfere. Raí Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lino Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raí Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Márcio de Lima made the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Dracena charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmundo Dracena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Matismo AT's Edmundo Dracena got a free kick in the 55th minute. BANGU F.C's Lino Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Terra in the 59th minute of play. Raí Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Augusto Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Lino Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind BANGU F.C's goalkeeper Lino Galvão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, BANGU F.C's Aloísio Neiva got a free kick in the 69th minute. João Augusto Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Augusto Terra in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Galvão saved BANGU F.C from getting behind. Real Matismo AT's Joel Ho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Real Matismo AT from getting a goal against them. When João Augusto Terra came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Real Matismo AT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Augusto Terra couldn't finish the play. Lino Galvão came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Matismo AT's Raí Moreno. But to his dismay, Raí Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Natã Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Real Matismo AT lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
