Pedro Luiz Matorin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Matheus Gerber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 17 played minutes Chiba got a freekick which was hit by Nilmar Bastos. 23 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chiba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pirangy FC the free kick. The supporters of Pirangy FC booed when Chiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Cléber Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Madureira having to interfere. Pedro Augusto de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Noel Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pirangy FC. Pirangy FC's Matheus Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz Matorin in the 67th minute of play. Zé Carlos Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Chiba were victorious despite being under pressure from Pirangy FC for much of the match.
