Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Azurra Futebol Clube's zone, Pedro Luiz Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmyr Koehler came out of the goal and Pedro Luiz Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th match minute, Azurra Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Matos to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Luiz Matorin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walmyr Koehler having to make a save. 10 minutes into the match, Azurra Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Matorin came free, but Walmyr Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Souza in the 17th minute of play. Noel Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Souza in the 17th minute of the match. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jean Vidal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chiba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jean Vidal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jean Vidal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Alan Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noel Madureira having to make a save. Noel Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Araújo in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alan Almeida in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Noel Madureira saved Chiba from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerônimo Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Azurra Futebol Clube's Manfredo Araújo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Noel Madureira. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. Jerônimo Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Noel Madureira made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Manfredo Araújo sent off a good shot on target. Nilmar Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerônimo Souza struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Noel Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azurra Futebol Clube. In the 75th minute, Pedro Luiz Matorin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Chiba booed when Azurra Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Azurra Futebol Clube's Alan Brodel in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 88 played minutes, Azurra Futebol Clube's Alan Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Noel Madureira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Azurra Futebol Clube reached it. Manfredo Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Noel Madureira made a huge save. Walmyr Koehler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luiz Matorin's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Chiba's Marcos Severo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Alan Almeida got in the 95th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Noel Madureira. This was a shot which ended in a score of 0-3.
