After a rather tough play, THE PLAN's Antônio Barral got a free kick in the 19th minute. Tomé Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltazar Leão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciro Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. THE PLAN's João Francisco Lima managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vitinho de Andrade in the 40 minute of the game. Antônio Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

THE PLAN's attentive João Francisco Lima managed to snatch the ball when Vitinho de Andrade made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Vitinho de Andrade made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by THE PLAN's João Francisco Lima. Zé Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in THE PLAN's zone, Tomé Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matheus Silva came out of the goal and Tomé Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 70 minutes, Nando Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anitapolis and the THE PLAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. Téo Lopes's late challenge caught a THE PLAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Téo Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Anitapolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Lopes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Lopes in the 73rd minute of play forced THE PLAN's goalkeeper Matheus Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes THE PLAN got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Barral. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Tomé Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anitapolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomé Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matheus Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. THE PLAN's João Francisco Lima quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vitinho de Andrade, made in the 81st minute of the game. Matheus Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Lopes in the 92nd minute of the match. When Tomé Vides came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Anitapolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomé Vides couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see THE PLAN lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
