Matheus Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Matheus Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio de Queiroz in the 18th minute of the match. Matheus Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio de Queiroz took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matheus Silva. Matheus Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Sephiroth FC's Dráuzio de Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. THE PLAN's Matheus Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráuzio de Queiroz in the 32nd minute of play. Ciro Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Vinícius Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When João Francisco Lima came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the THE PLAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Francisco Lima couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Batista to make the kick off. Dráuzio de Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Matheus Silva made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in THE PLAN's zone, Dráuzio de Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matheus Silva came out of the goal and Dráuzio de Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráuzio de Queiroz got free with Matheus Silva in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dráuzio de Queiroz had several of the THE PLAN's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Matheus Silva as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Antônio Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Reinaldo Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matheus Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, THE PLAN's Matheus Silva got control of the ball when Dráuzio de Queiroz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Sephiroth FC's Ernesto Maia tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráuzio de Queiroz got free with Matheus Silva in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, THE PLAN's goalkeeper Matheus Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráuzio de Queiroz. Matheus Silva made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Dráuzio de Queiroz sent off a good shot on target. Chants of Sephiroth FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as THE PLAN had held the ball for most of the match.
