Sydney Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rui Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Zézinho de Medeiros's late challenge caught a FlinstonLusa EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zézinho de Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Datas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Caio Xavier was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 16 minutes, João Pedro Nunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Datas SS and the FlinstonLusa EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, João Pedro Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, FlinstonLusa EC's Alexandre Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Datas SS's goalkeeper Almir Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rui Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sydney Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Datas SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Alcântara couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Datas SS's Almir Alcântara got control of the ball when Alexandre Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Datas SS getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. João Pedro Nunes hit a great ball. When Alexandre Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FlinstonLusa EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Gerber couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Alexandre Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. FlinstonLusa EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Pontes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Almir Alcântara, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Pontes to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FlinstonLusa EC's Cristóvão Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernani Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Rui Esteves made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Cristóvão Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. FlinstonLusa EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Pontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almir Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Alcântara having to interfere. Datas SS's Almir Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Gerber in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Pontes in the 81st minute of play forced Datas SS's goalkeeper Almir Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexandre Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Almir Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Gerber in the 86th minute of the match. When Caio Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FlinstonLusa EC's protests and gave Caio Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FlinstonLusa EC booed when Datas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristóvão Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Almir Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that FlinstonLusa EC were the better team. FlinstonLusa EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
