José Augusto Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Chaves in the 3rd minute of the match. Dorival Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Cosme having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marquinhos Dionísio during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Genesio's Agnaldo Simões got a free kick in the 13th minute. Dorival Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Renatinho Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asgard F.C's protests and gave Renatinho Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. Renatinho Vidal hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Agnaldo Simões struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Erivaldo Siqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Genesio. Erivaldo Siqueira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Genesio's Júnior Meira shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 35th match minute, Asgard F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredinho Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Dorival Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Romero hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Dorival Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Asgard F.C's zone, Júnior Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Siqueira came out of the goal and Júnior Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th match minute, Asgard F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agnaldo Simões was the one to do the kick off. Asgard F.C's Erivaldo Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo Simões in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Magalhães in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Augusto Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, Júnior Meira notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Asgard F.C's Erivaldo Siqueira. Erivaldo Siqueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Geovânio Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Genesio's José Augusto Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredinho Chaves in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Alfredinho Chaves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erivaldo Siqueira was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Agnaldo Simões capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agnaldo Simões really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Asgard F.C's Dorival Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Chaves in the 96th minute of play forced Genesio's goalkeeper José Augusto Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Asgard F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Genesio's performance. The match ended with a win for Genesio.
