After 4 played minutes Ibaretama got a freekick which was hit by Didi Peixoto. Jonas Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Eger having to interfere. In the 14th minute Didi Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dayoub FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Conrado de Salles hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dayoub FC's zone, Jonas Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Eger came out of the goal and Jonas Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Didi Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Tavares lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 29 minutes into the game, one of Ibaretama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Dayoub FC a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mauro Sabóia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ibaretama's Ramiro Garcia. 1-0. Virgílio Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Garcia having to interfere. Ibaretama's Ramiro Garcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Ibaretama from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Damião to make the kick off. With a little luck, Dayoub FC's Benjamin Eger got control of the ball when Leopoldo Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ibaretama booed when Dayoub FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Jonas Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Dayoub FC's Virgílio Rosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonas Damião scored 1-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Eger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Damião struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Benjamin Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibaretama. After having played for 91 minutes, Virgílio Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dayoub FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Ibaretama's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Trigo came free, but Ramiro Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
