The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaltino Xavier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredinho Chaves in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juarês Marinho saved Clube Atlético Phoenix from getting behind. Juarês Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Chaves in the 70th minute of the match. Clube Atlético Phoenix's Juarês Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Magalhães in the 73rd minute of play. Isaltino Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Artur Mota got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
