Chico Cabral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusébio Pereira went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fernandão de Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chico Cabral having to make a save. CF Teresinense's Chico Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandão de Brito in the 19th minute of play. Chico Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, CF Teresinense's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Pereira came free, but Chico Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Coletivo Construção's Sydney Hoffmann got control of the ball when Fausto Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dino de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Sydney Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Teresinense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
