Joel Campidelis came out of the goal and Marquinhos Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Campidelis having to interfere. Gabriel Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Igor Nunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joel Campidelis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Igor Nunes. Marquinhos Mattos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Joel Campidelis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Sydney Rezende fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soad FC's protests and gave Sydney Rezende a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Soad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Rezende to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Mattinha's Marquinhos Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Campidelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Nunes struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Joel Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mattinha. With a little luck, Soad FC's Joel Campidelis got control of the ball when Marquinhos Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Gildo Loureiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gabriel Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Miranda in the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Miranda in the 46th minute of play forced Mattinha's goalkeeper Gabriel Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marquinhos Mattos was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Mattos in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soad FC's goalkeeper Joel Campidelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Mattinha getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Cláudio Arantes hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Luciano Miranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson da Mata in the 66th minute of play forced Mattinha's goalkeeper Gabriel Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Miranda in the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Soad FC's Edmílson da Mata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabriel Freire. That made the score 0-2 after 75 minutes of play. Marquinhos Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Edmílson da Mata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gabriel Freire, 0-3. After 91 played minutes Nando Ramalho rounded Mattinha's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. The Mattinha supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Soad FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Soad FC.
