Germano Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Deivid Simão made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Donato Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deivid Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Germano Pinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Deivid Simão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo Simões couldn't finish the play. The SoberanosFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Descalvado FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
