Spectators: 7087 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antônio Carlos Schmidt got the match started through his kick off. Benê Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benê Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Porto Feliz FC's Lenílson Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Cearense in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Luizinho Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lenílson Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Cearense in the 29th minute of the match. Lenílson Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráusio de Toledo in the 33rd minute. 39 minutes into the match, Dráusio de Toledo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Porto Feliz FC's Lenílson Rocha. Lenílson Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 45 minutes into the match, Porto Feliz FC's goalkeeper Lenílson Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráusio de Toledo.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Cearense made a kick off. Antônio Carlos Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Matos having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Adolfo Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porto Feliz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davi Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antônio Carlos Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Matos having to interfere. Horácio Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio de Toledo in the 60th minute of play forced Porto Feliz FC's goalkeeper Lenílson Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Porto Feliz FC's Marco de Azevedo got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Seropedica got a corner. Porto Feliz FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valério Koehler ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Seropedica's corner Valério Koehler fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lenílson Rocha quite easily take care of the ball. Antônio Carlos Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Davi Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Figueiredo during the 71st minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
