In the 21st minute Ricardo Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Juari's André Luís França got a free kick in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráusio de Toledo got free with Sílvio Luís Alves in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dráusio de Toledo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Luís Alves having to make a save. Sílvio Luís Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Cearense in the 34th minute of the match. Ramiro Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Cearense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sílvio Luís Alves was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Dráusio de Toledo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sílvio Luís Alves firmly grabbed it by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Cearense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dráusio de Toledo scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Luís Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Juari's zone, Dráusio de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luís Alves came out of the goal and Dráusio de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráusio de Toledo scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Luís Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Juari getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Percival da Cunha hit a great ball. Maurinho Cosme hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Juari's zone, Ricardo Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luís Alves came out of the goal and Ricardo Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Cearense in the 76th minute of play forced Juari's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Ricardo Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Ricardo Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Cearense in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luís Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
