Spectators: 6643 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Álvaro Neves started the match with the kick off. Germano Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Germano Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Mosquitinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Simões to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute of the match Luan Guedes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Bertassi skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Descalvado FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Leonardo Proença hit a great ball. Álvaro Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Orlando Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emanuel de Lara fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mosquitinho's protests and gave Emanuel de Lara a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Mosquitinho got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel de Lara. In the 21st minute, Emanuel de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Germano Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Descalvado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Germano Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Luiz Gustavo Simões ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Doriva Bertassi's late challenge caught a Mosquitinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Bertassi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Descalvado FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Doriva Bertassi hit a great ball. Mosquitinho's Cristiano Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Pinho in the 39th minute of play. Cristiano Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Germano Pinho went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Descalvado FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Gustavo Simões was the one to do the kick off. Enéas Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Álvaro Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 59 minutes into the match, Mosquitinho's Enéas Pinheiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Hoffmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristiano Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Germano Pinho in the 64th minute. When Egídio Arruda fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mosquitinho's protests and gave Egídio Arruda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Egídio Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Bertassi having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Germano Pinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Laerte Paes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Enéas Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Mosquitinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enéas Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Descalvado FC's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Neves came free, but Orlando Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Enéas Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Descalvado FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
