Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leyliño's Giovani Marquez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zézinho Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís França, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Leyliño's Erasmo Lopes got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ricardo Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Laércio Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leyliño's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Luís Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juari's Sílvio Luís Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Sousa in the 19th minute of play. Sílvio Luís Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Lopes in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Laércio Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juari's Sílvio Luís Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laércio Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Alves having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Marquez in the 30th minute of play forced Juari's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luís Alves came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Leyliño's Laércio Sousa. But to his dismay, Laércio Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as André Luís França kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zézinho Ramalho. That made the score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Percival da Cunha to make the kick off. Giovani Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Alves having to interfere. André Luís França's late challenge caught a Leyliño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Luís França helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leyliño booed when Juari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luís França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laércio Sousa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sílvio Luís Alves firmly grabbed it by the left post. 84 minutes into the match, Giovani Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Luís Alves. Juari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovani Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When Laércio Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Leyliño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Sousa couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luís Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Marquez in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Percival da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Luís Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Juari's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Sousa. After a defensive mix-up in Juari's zone, Giovani Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luís Alves came out of the goal and Giovani Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Leyliño players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
