An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel de Lara in the 18th minute of play forced Porto Feliz FC's goalkeeper Lenílson Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Paulo Renato Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. Antônio Carlos Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Bertassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Adolfo Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Carlos Schmidts short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Cristiano Bertassi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Porto Feliz FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Porto Feliz FC's Antônio Carlos Schmidt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Horácio Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Bertassi having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Antônio Carlos Schmidt took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Cristiano Bertassi to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Álvaro Neves made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Mosquitinho's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Queirós came free, but Cristiano Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Schmidt in the 55th minute of play. Paulo Renato Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cristiano Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Porto Feliz FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Moisés Gaúcho hit a great ball. Antônio Carlos Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Bertassi having to interfere. Cristiano Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th match minute, Mosquitinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel de Lara to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Alan Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antônio Carlos Schmidt took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Bertassi. Cristiano Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 87 minutes into the match, Porto Feliz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Neves came free, but Lenílson Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Antônio Carlos Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Horácio Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Porto Feliz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Favoretto couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Antônio Carlos Schmidt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Bertassi was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Porto Feliz FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
