Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olívio Tepedino started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Percival da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortaleza FA the free kick. Percival da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Ramalho having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Luís Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortaleza FA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sílvio Luís Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olívio Tepedino's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Luís Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortaleza FA's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Luís Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juari's Sílvio Luís Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Tepedino in the 19th minute of play. Sílvio Luís Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Tepedino in the 21st minute of play. André Luís França charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Luís França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Luís França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Ramalho having to interfere. Percival da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Percival da Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Ramalho. Fortaleza FA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Percival da Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Olívio Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Alves having to interfere. Sílvio Luís Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Luís Alves came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Fortaleza FA's Olívio Tepedino. But to his dismay, Olívio Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 60th minute, André Luís França ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When Fortaleza FA's Olívio Tepedino in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juari's goalie prevented a goal. Sílvio Luís Alves made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Luís Veiga sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Juari's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Tepedino came free, but Sílvio Luís Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olívio Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Tepedino in the 78th minute of play forced Juari's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Elói das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Juari's Egídio Esteves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Ramalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percival da Cunha in the 85th minute of play forced Fortaleza FA's goalkeeper Ciro Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Juari's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Veiga. Olívio Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Juari's Sílvio Luís Alves got control of the ball when Elói das Neves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Juari's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Veiga. The Fortaleza FA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
