He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 11 minutes, César Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peaky Blinders's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reynaldo Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zézinho Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Leyliño getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Lauro Seco hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Erasmo Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leyliño's Zézinho Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz de Lima in the 25th minute of play. When Peaky Blinders's César Saraiva in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leyliño's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Leyliño's zone, André Luiz de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zézinho Ramalho came out of the goal and André Luiz de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, César Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peaky Blinders's supporters rose to their feet, but César Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zézinho Ramalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. César Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Zézinho Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Leyliño defense, César Saraiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zézinho Ramalho. The Leyliño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zézinho Ramalho should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luiz de Lima was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Leyliño's zone, César Saraiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zézinho Ramalho came out of the goal and César Saraiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Peaky Blinders's Reynaldo Arruda got a free kick in the 57th minute. André Luiz de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Saraiva in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Leyliño booed when Peaky Blinders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laércio Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivo Diniz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lúcio Cordeiro. Walmir Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Giovani Marquez struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Ivo Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leyliño. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Peaky Blinders fully deserved thier win.
