Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luiz Gustavo Simões kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Luiz Gustavo Simões's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi Matos was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Cearense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 67th match minute, Seropedica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Cosme to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Donato Faria had to leave the field with a concussion. After 69 minutes, Maurinho Cosme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seropedica and the Descalvado FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Maurinho Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germano Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Seropedica booed when Descalvado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Germano Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
