One of Flabucas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Centro Sportivo Alagoano:s goal. The goalkeeper, Pedro Guilherme, was totally fooled by Centro Sportivo Alagoano's Christiano de Almeida, who 15 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jean Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Pedro Guilherme was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christiano de Almeida. After having played for 31 minutes, Sérgio de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centro Sportivo Alagoano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Hermínio Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes in the game, Sérgio de Alcântara fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pedro Guilherme having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Centro Sportivo Alagoano's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio Araújo came free, but Algirdas Marčiauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sérgio de Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Centro Sportivo Alagoano's Algirdas Marčiauskas got control of the ball when Hermínio Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermínio Araújo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Algirdas Marčiauskas saved Centro Sportivo Alagoano from getting behind. Sérgio de Alcântara's late challenge caught a Flabucas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sérgio de Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. Sérgio de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Flabucas FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Wanderson Pinheiro hit a great ball. If Albertinho Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
