In the 15th minute, Narciso Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bento Gonçalves F.C.'s zone, Rubinho Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Paranaense came out of the goal and Rubinho Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Rubinho Pontes made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Paranaense. Bento Gonçalves F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. With a little luck, Bento Gonçalves F.C.'s Ricardo Paranaense got control of the ball when Rubinho Pontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubinho Pontes was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute Rubinho Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bento Gonçalves F.C. were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Moleques da Villa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albertinho de Queiroz took the corner. Narciso Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Christiano Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Rubinho Pontes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bento Gonçalves F.C.'s Ricardo Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Bento Gonçalves F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Dantas came free, but Ricardo Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Moleques da Villa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
