Jardel Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Campidelis in the 8th minute of the match. Jardel da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Paulo José Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonels FC's Jardel Fonseca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Leonels FC from getting a goal against them. When Samuca Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Alcatéia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Urbano couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that João Campidelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jardel Fonseca was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 28th minute, João Campidelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Leonels FC. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo José Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuca Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jardel Fonseca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Marcelo Bertassi made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alcatéia FC's Jardel da Silveira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alcatéia FC had won after a very even match.
