Spectators: 7308 (Terracing: 5482, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Alcatéia FC's João Campidelis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcatéia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER MB the free kick. After a rather tough play, Alcatéia FC's Arnaldo Mangueira got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes Brazilio Tasso shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Jardel da Silveira when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, INTER MB's Dedé Azevedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jardel da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Alcatéia FC's zone, Brazilio Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel da Silveira came out of the goal and Brazilio Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th match minute, Alcatéia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca Urbano to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Dedé Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Alcatéia FC's zone, Irwin Winkler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel da Silveira came out of the goal and Irwin Winkler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dedé Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jardel da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brazilio Tasso went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Brazilio Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Barros in the 33rd minute of play forced Alcatéia FC's goalkeeper Jardel da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardel da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Barros in the 35th minute of the match. Alexsandro Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, João Campidelis took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Valdir Rossi to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Barros in the 45th minute of play forced Alcatéia FC's goalkeeper Jardel da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardel da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Azevedo in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Alexsandro Barros made the kick off in the second half. Brazilio Tasso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Jardel da Silveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Dedé Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alcatéia FC's Jardel da Silveira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Bogdan Psotka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alexsandro Barros came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the INTER MB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Barros couldn't finish the play. Jardel da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Azevedo in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Dedé Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dedé Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER MB's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jardel da Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dedé Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the INTER MB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Jardel da Silveira was a little too slow when Alexsandro Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-3. Jardel da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Alexsandro Barros notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Alcatéia FC's Jardel da Silveira. Jardel da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dedé Azevedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. INTER MB's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
