After a rather tough play, INTER MB's Irwin Winkler got a free kick in the 8th minute. Chicão da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Alexsandro Barros sent off a good shot on target. Léo Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Candeias Futebol Clube's Chicão da Silveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Candeias Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the match, INTER MB's Alexsandro Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chicão da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Candeias Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brazilio Tasso was slow to take the kick. During this time INTER MB's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Azevedo in the 27th minute of play forced Candeias Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Chicão da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexsandro Barros took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chicão da Silveira. Chicão da Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Dedé Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Chicão da Silveira. That made the score 4-0 in the 34 minute of play. After 42 played minutes Candeias Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Paraíba. Irwin Winkler struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Chicão da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER MB. Chicão da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Candeias Futebol Clube's zone, Irwin Winkler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chicão da Silveira came out of the goal and Irwin Winkler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexsandro Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dedé Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Chicão da Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER MB. Leandro Passos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Chicão da Silveira, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 5-0. Alexsandro Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chicão da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brazilio Tasso went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Dedé Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, INTER MB's Alexsandro Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chicão da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Chicão da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irwin Winkler, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Alexsandro Barros notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Candeias Futebol Clube's Chicão da Silveira. Chicão da Silveira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alexsandro Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chicão da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nico Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Brazilio Tasso in the 83rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Chicão da Silveira's left hand side. Dedé Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão da Silveira having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Irwin Winkler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chicão da Silveira. Candeias Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irwin Winkler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Dedé Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexsandro Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Chicão da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chicão da Silveira came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER MB's Dedé Azevedo. But to his dismay, Dedé Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. There was no doubt that INTER MB were the better team. INTER MB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
