Florianópolis FC's Adalberto Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Florianópolis FC from getting a goal against them. In the 14th match minute, Peruíbe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zézinho Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Betinho Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Teles having to interfere. Luiz Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The Peruíbe FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Peruíbe FC's Luisão Vaz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Luisão Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Hermes having to interfere. Florianópolis FC's Adalberto Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Vaz in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisão Vaz made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Peruíbe FC's Luisão Vaz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adalberto Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adalberto Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Vaz in the 59th minute of the match. Anderson Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Adalberto Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Peruíbe FC got a freekick which was hit by Dida Sergipano. Juarês Mineiro in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luiz Teles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 66 minutes into the match, Luisão Vaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adalberto Hermes. Florianópolis FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisão Vaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 70 minutes of play, Peruíbe FC's Luisão Vaz made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adalberto Hermes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adalberto Hermes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisão Vaz went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the game, Zézinho Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peruíbe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Florianópolis FC the free kick. Zézinho Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Luisão Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florianópolis FC's Adalberto Hermes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anderson Faria struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Adalberto Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peruíbe FC. Betinho Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Teles having to interfere. Adalberto Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Vaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matheus Prado hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Luisão Vaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisão Vaz in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adalberto Hermes saved Florianópolis FC from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peruíbe FC had played much better football throughout.
