Spectators: 6404 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caetano Duarte kicked off to start the match. Giuseppe Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Favoretto in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes RIO FUT 7 FC got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Trigo. After a defensive mix-up in minas gerais fc's zone, Caetano Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Coelho came out of the goal and Caetano Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of RIO FUT 7 FC booed when minas gerais fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Caetano Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the game, Faustão Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. minas gerais fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RIO FUT 7 FC the free kick. After 19 played minutes minas gerais fc got a freekick which was hit by Faustão Favoretto. Váldson Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Cássio Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Giuseppe Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Váldson Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Duarte in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, RIO FUT 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Arce came free, but Giuseppe Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Váldson Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Cássio Pinheiro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Giuseppe Sabóia, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Favoretto got free with Giuseppe Sabóia in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agostinho Araújo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Cássio Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. José Carlos Trigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caetano Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Coelho having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Caetano Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIO FUT 7 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind RIO FUT 7 FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Sabóia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caetano Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Faustão Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Sabóia having to interfere. Faustão Favoretto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giuseppe Sabóia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to RIO FUT 7 FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marcinho de Amaral hit a great ball. Giuseppe Sabóia came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by minas gerais fc's Cássio Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Cássio Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. RIO FUT 7 FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because minas gerais fc had won, even though RIO FUT 7 FC had held more of the ball.
