But to his dismay, Pedro Paulo Cosme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in RIO FUT 7 FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Giuseppe Sabóia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kaká Paiva went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Edgard Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Duarte hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Giuseppe Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Paulo Cosme in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Kaká Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giuseppe Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Hambúrguer FC's Pedro Paulo Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RIO FUT 7 FC's Giuseppe Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Cosme in the 21st minute of play. Edgard Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Sabóia having to interfere. Kaká Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The RIO FUT 7 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Sabóia should have stopped the shot. José Vítor Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Giuseppe Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Vítor Linhares in the 46th minute of play forced RIO FUT 7 FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The wind increased when Pedro Paulo Cosme made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, RIO FUT 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Cosme came free, but Giuseppe Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute Kaká Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Vítor Linhares struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Giuseppe Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hambúrguer FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, José Vítor Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hambúrguer FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Vítor Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Paulo Cosme got free with Giuseppe Sabóia in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giuseppe Sabóia was a little too slow when Pedro Paulo Cosme got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-7. Giuseppe Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcinho de Amaral hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Pedro Paulo Cosme made a precise shot to the right of Giuseppe Sabóia. RIO FUT 7 FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 88th minute, Sandro Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, RIO FUT 7 FC's Giuseppe Sabóia got control of the ball when Anísio Cavalcante tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Paulo Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Giuseppe Sabóia made a huge save. When Kaká Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Hambúrguer FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaká Paiva couldn't finish the play. Hambúrguer FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
