A beautiful save bye Maracai F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Giuseppe Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Teles in the 11th minute of play forced RIO FUT 7 FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcinho de Amaral during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcinho de Amaral hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Giuseppe Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Meira in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, RIO FUT 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Meira came free, but Giuseppe Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giuseppe Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Peixoto in the 20th minute of play. Giuseppe Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Meira in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Meira in the 27th minute of play forced RIO FUT 7 FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by RIO FUT 7 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jailson Romero was slow to take the kick. During this time Maracai F.C's players had a chance to rest. Agostinho Araújo put his foot forward to block RIO FUT 7 FC from scoring but unfortunatly he hit the ball so badly that it rolled just inside the left pole, an annoying self made goal. 1-0 in the 29th matchminute. Marcel Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Giuseppe Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Eurico Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Eurico Meira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giuseppe Sabóia. Eurico Meira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, RIO FUT 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Corrêa came free, but Giuseppe Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eurico Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Giuseppe Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, RIO FUT 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Peixoto came free, but Giuseppe Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Meira in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe Sabóia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eurico Meira was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, RIO FUT 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Corrêa came free, but Giuseppe Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giuseppe Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RIO FUT 7 FC's Giuseppe Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Corrêa in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, RIO FUT 7 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Meira came free, but Giuseppe Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Eurico Meira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giuseppe Sabóia. RIO FUT 7 FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eurico Meira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Peixoto in the 72nd minute of play forced RIO FUT 7 FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Eurico Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maracai F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Caetano Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waldir Castro was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Giuseppe Sabóia came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Maracai F.C's Eurico Meira. But to his dismay, Eurico Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 82 minutes of play, Maracai F.C's Eurico Meira made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giuseppe Sabóia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, RIO FUT 7 FC's Danilo Madureira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waldir Castro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eurico Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Giuseppe Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Otávio Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Maracai F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Peixoto couldn't finish the play. Maracai F.C's Edgar Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maracai F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
