But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Couto couldn't finish the play. If Igor Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hortêncio Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Pena having to interfere. Hermínio Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The long shot by Juan Torres in the 80th minute really tested Sérgio Pena's skills.
