The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Ribeiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Igor Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Cambota FC's Ezequiel Ribeiro got control of the ball when Igor Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Cenac fc's Hortêncio Couto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Ribeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Santana having to interfere. Igor Almeida struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ezequiel Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cenac fc. 31 minutes into the match, Tony Leme notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cenac fc's Wanderson Santana. Wanderson Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Cenac fc booed when Cambota FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio de Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Igor Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wanderson Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Couto to make the kick off. If Tony Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Ribeiro came out of the goal and Igor Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Igor Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezequiel Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Cenac fc's Hortêncio Couto. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cambota FC's Ezequiel Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Couto in the 83rd minute of play. Ezequiel Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
