José Peres made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Kiko Sousa sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 26 in the game by Kiko Sousa from a close distance when the talented José Peres managed to make a qualified save. Cacoes FC's players were relieved. Wágner Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Dracena struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Antônio Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacoes FC. Cacoes FC's José Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Couto in the 33rd minute of play. Wágner Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. José Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wágner Couto was the one to do the kick off. If Wágner Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute, Dorian Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wágner Couto came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Tuiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner Couto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Sousa in the 56th minute of play forced Cacoes FC's goalkeeper José Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Sousa struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. José Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuiti. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinei Antunes during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Kiko Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuiti's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
