After having played for 22 minutes, Caio Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arisvel EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeferson de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 30th match minute, Arisvel EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Diniz to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute of the match Manoel Teixeira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Célio Chaves skillfully saved the ball. In the 31st minute, Paulão Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Vito Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Célio Chaves. Caio Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Pelotas F.C.'s Jeferson de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Faria in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cássio Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pelotas F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Célio Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Célio Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Munhoz in the 62nd minute. Roberto Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jeferson de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Duarte in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeferson de Mendonça saved Pelotas F.C. from getting behind. When Jailson Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelotas F.C.'s protests and gave Jailson Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pelotas F.C.'s Jailson Alagoano got a free kick in the 75th minute. Roberto Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson de Mendonça having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Arisvel EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Gaúcho came free, but Célio Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Arisvel EC's José Pedro Lara got a free kick in the 95th minute. Pelotas F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manoel Teixeira in the 98th minute. The Pelotas F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Arisvel EC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
