Andrézinho Mazza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Eao's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Leite came free, but Andrézinho Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. William Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in noname's zone, Delfim Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Goiano came out of the goal and Delfim Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleiton Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Celso Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Freitas spun around in front of the goal 27 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of noname's goal. Delfim Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrézinho Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Toledo in the 44th minute of play. Andrézinho Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrézinho Mazza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Celso Marquez struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Andrézinho Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for noname. After the first half noname were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faustão Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. José Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. José Queiroz got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Eao getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. José Queiroz hit a great ball. Delfim Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Enéas Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrézinho Mazza skillfully saved the ball. Andrézinho Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Andrézinho Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for noname. 72 minutes into the match, noname's Andrézinho Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrézinho Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, noname's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Freitas came free, but William Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrézinho Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Andrézinho Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Andrézinho Mazza made a huge save. A collision led to Eao getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tomé Brodel hit a great ball. With a little luck, Eao's Andrézinho Mazza got control of the ball when Andrézinho Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Andrézinho Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrézinho Ramalho in the 100th minute. The noname supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing noname would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
