The shot went straight in by the left post. Elói Saldanha hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Betinho Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the game, Delfim Vasconcelos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Luís Perez. Delfim Vasconcelos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Vasconcelos in the 25th minute of play forced Mira AD's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Washington da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Betinho Zonta struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Genílson Mazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mira AD. If Delfim Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Rafinha Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AA Custelense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Luís Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Vasconcelos in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The supporters of AA Custelense booed when Mira AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Genílson Mazza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mira AD's Pedro Luís Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Vasconcelos in the 56th minute of play. Rafinha Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luís Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Trancoso in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mira AD's zone, Rafinha Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Perez came out of the goal and Rafinha Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Rafinha Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mira AD booed when AA Custelense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandrinho Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Washington da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Delfim Vasconcelos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Luís Perez was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Pedro Luís Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Trancoso in the 86th minute of play. Rafinha Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Perez having to interfere. When Rafinha Trancoso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pedro Luís Perez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Amílton Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AA Custelense's protests and gave Amílton Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AA Custelense getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Amílton Trevisan hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Washington da Silveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AA Custelense walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
