Kauan Monteiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Bambu SS's Jefferson Mello got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fernando Soeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chiquinho Pombal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Rafinha Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vix Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bambu SS the free kick. 37 minutes in the game, Nilton Alagoano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kauan Monteiro having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Bambu SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Ferraz to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Vix Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Alagoano came free, but Kauan Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nilton Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kauan Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kauan Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elder Freitas in the 69th minute of play. Elder Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan Monteiro having to interfere. Bambu SS's Chiquinho Pombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Bambu SS from getting a goal against them. Vix Club's Aírton Moreira got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Aírton Moreira off the ground. Kauan Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Nilton Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Kauan Monteiro. Vix Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1.
