Nestor Reis, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vânderson Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gilson Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilson Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Vânderson Vargas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gilson Romero. Vânderson Vargas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Vânderson Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gilson Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Simão de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Leal in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Vânderson Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Vânderson Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vânderson Vargas's late challenge caught a Pseudeos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vânderson Vargas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, AC Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Giovanni Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Abelardo Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Dragons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 43 minutes, Rodriguinho Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pseudeos and the AC Dragons players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Pseudeos got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho Arantes. A hard shot 45 in the game by Abelardo Seco from a close distance when the talented Gilson Romero managed to make a qualified save. Pseudeos's players were relieved.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vânderson Vargas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tomé Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abelardo Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Romero having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vânderson Vargas in the 60th minute of play forced Pseudeos's goalkeeper Gilson Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pseudeos getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Allan Madureira hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Seco in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilson Romero saved Pseudeos from getting behind. When Allan Madureira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. Vânderson Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renatinho Sousa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Pseudeos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 72nd minute Vânderson Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Montenegro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, AC Dragons's goalkeeper Simão de Mendonça had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renatinho Sousa. Gilson Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the match, AC Dragons's Vânderson Vargas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilson Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simão de Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Renatinho Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Giovanni Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão de Mendonça having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AC Dragons fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pseudeos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
